The President extended his condolences to her family and recognized her efforts during Pakistan’s 2022 floods.
According to Pakistan Peoples Party, President Zardari remarked on the significant role that Congresswoman Jackson Lee played as a leader who fervently supported human rights initiatives, especially concerning women and children. Her endeavors to bolster Pakistan-US relations were also emphasized as key elements of her legacy.
The President further commemorated Congresswoman Jackson Lee’s involvement and aid during the catastrophic floods in Pakistan in 2022, noting her advocacy and support brought relief and hope to those severely affected by the disaster.
