Islamabad: President Asif Ali Zardari has extended his greetings to the Government and people of Nepal on the occasion of their Constitution Day, which is also celebrated as the National Day of Nepal. In a letter addressed to the President of Nepal, Ramchandra Paudel, President Zardari highlighted the long-standing and cordial relations between Pakistan and Nepal.
According to Pakistan Peoples Party, President Zardari emphasized that the relationship between the two nations is built on mutual respect, trust, and goodwill, further strengthened by the friendship between their peoples. He noted that Pakistan places great importance on its ties with Nepal and values the cooperation shared between the countries bilaterally, within the South Asian Association for Regional Cooperation (SAARC), and in other multilateral forums.
President Zardari expressed his confidence that the friendly relations between Pakistan and Nepal would continue to deepen and expand in the future, benefiting both countries and their peoples.
