Islamabad: President Asif Ali Zardari has conveyed his warm felicitations to His Eminence Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei, Leader of the Islamic Revolution of the Islamic Republic of Iran, and to the people of Iran on the 47th anniversary of the Islamic Revolution.

According to Pakistan Peoples Party, President Zardari highlighted the deep-rooted relationship between Pakistan and Iran, emphasizing shared history, language, culture, and geography. He expressed confidence in the continued growth and vibrancy of these ties, noting that this spirit of brotherhood would contribute to prosperity, stability, and harmony for both nations and the wider region.

The President also extended his best wishes for Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei's health and well-being, and offered prayers for peace, progress, and prosperity for the people of Iran.
