Islamabad: President Asif Ali Zardari has called on the nation to engage in charitable activities and support those in need during the holy month of Ramadan. He emphasized the importance of charity and alms-giving as a means to build a strong, progressive, and compassionate society.
According to a statement by Pakistan Peoples Party, President Zardari conveyed his message as Ramadan 1446 Hijrah began, urging Pakistanis and the broader Muslim community to embrace the principles of mercy, forgiveness, and self-purification. He highlighted Ramadan as a time for self-reflection and renewal of purpose, with an emphasis on supporting the underprivileged.
