KARACHI: The Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) Karachi Division Women’s Wing convened an introductory meeting at the People’s Secretariat Karachi under the leadership of Dr. Shahida Rahmani, the President of the Women’s Wing, Karachi Division.

In the meeting, newly elected women representatives from various districts within Karachi Division were formally welcomed. Dr. Shahida Rahmani relayed messages from President Asif Ali Zardari, Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari, and Women’s Wing President Faryal Talpur. The leaders extended best wishes to the new representatives and reiterated their commitment to addressing women’s issues in Karachi.

Dr. Shahida Rahmani highlighted the importance of the newly elected representatives as a valuable asset to the party. She emphasized that the team would continue efforts to empower women and safeguard their rights, following the vision set by Bilawal Bhutto Zardari and Faryal Talpur.

General Secretary Shaheena Sher Ali addressed the meeting, underscoring the intent to strengthen the organizational structure. She stressed that efforts would be made to ensure the party’s message reaches the grassroots level.

The meeting concluded with Deputy Information Secretary Syeda Tehseen Abidi expressing gratitude to media representatives and participants for their presence.
