Quetta: Chairman of the Pakistan People’s Party (PPP), Bilawal Bhutto Zardari, has issued a directive for immediate measures to address the challenges facing laborers in Balochistan, emphasizing the need for swift and effective solutions.
According to Pakistan Peoples Party, the PPP Chairman met with a delegation of labor leaders in Quetta, led by Haji Ramzan Achakzai, Central Joint President of the All Pakistan Federation of Trade Unions and the WAPDA Labor Union. The meeting also included labor representatives Muhammad Yar Alizai, Baqi Lehri, and Muhammad Qasim, who briefed the Chairman on the specific problems encountered by the labor community, particularly miners in the region.
Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari instructed the Chief Minister of Balochistan to develop a mechanism that promptly and effectively resolves these labor issues. The meeting was also attended by notable figures including the Chief Minister of Balochistan, Mir Sarfraz Bugti, PPP Balochistan President Mir Changez Khan Jamali, MNA Ejaz Jakhrani, and Syed Iqbal Shah, emphasizing the party’s commitment to labor rights and welfare.
