PPP Balochistan Leaders Claim Victory Across Four Provinces, Seek Chief Ministership

Islamabad, Leaders from the Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) Balochistan chapter have declared the party’s sweeping success in the recent elections across all four provinces of Pakistan, emphasizing the PPP’s role as a federation party. They have stated that the Chief Minister of Balochistan should be from their ranks, highlighting the party’s acceptance of the election results in the national interest and the formation of a four-point alliance in Balochistan.

According to Pakistan Peoples Party, the PPP Balochistan leadership, including figures like Sir Buland Joe Gezai and newly elected MNA Haji Malik Shah Gurgej, voiced their expectations for the party’s significant role in the province’s governance. They pointed out the youth’s support for PPP in Balochistan, inspired by Bilawal Bhutto Zardari’s statements during the foundation day celebrations. The leadership criticized their political opponents, including Akhtar Mengal, for past governance failures and emphasized the PPP’s mandate in Balochistan, dismissing allegations of election rigging and underscoring the party’s readiness to address any concerns through constitutional forums.

The leaders highlighted the PPP’s efforts to form a coalition with independent candidates and the support from PML-N in the province, asserting the party’s preparedness to lead Balochistan towards development and prosperity. They praised the role of the Pakistan Army in maintaining peace and security in Balochistan, rejecting any notions of electoral interference by security agencies and condemning attempts to incite youth against state institutions.

The PPP Balochistan’s leadership’s statements reflect a strong stance on their right to the Chief Ministership due to their electoral performance and the party’s historical commitment to federal unity and development. They call for cooperation among political parties and institutions to address the challenges facing Balochistan and to ensure the welfare of its people.
