PMLTC Supports Education with Scholarships for UET Students

Lahore: Pak Matiari-Lahore Transmission Company (Private) Limited (PMLTC) has awarded scholarships to 10 electrical engineering students at the University of Engineering and Technology (UET) Lahore. The scholarships were presented during a ceremony at the university, attended by notable figures such as UET Vice Chancellor Prof. Dr. Shahid Munir and PMLTC Chairman and CEO Mr. Xiong Feng.

The vice chancellor welcomed the Chinese delegation and expressed gratitude for their contribution to student development. He highlighted the initiative as a bridge between industry and academia and a testament to the strong ties between Pakistan and China.

Mr. Feng spoke about the scholarship program’s broader goals, which aim to benefit over 7,000 UET students each year. He announced plans for future expansion and indicated that scholarship recipients would receive employment opportunities. He noted that these efforts are designed to alleviate financial burdens on deserving students and encourage academic success.
