Loughborough: Nadeem Khan, Director of High Performance for the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB), visited the England and Wales Cricket Board High Performance Centre in Loughborough, focusing on advancing the training and development of Pakistan’s fast bowlers.
According to Pakistan Cricket Board, the visit included meetings with key figures from DineticQ, such as Professor Mark King, founder of DineticQ, Laurence Blair, CEO, and Ali Ehsan, founder of Socho Cricket. The primary discussions revolved around the services provided by DineticQ to enhance fast bowlers’ performance through specialized biomechanics courses and training aimed at injury prevention and skills development.
Nadeem Khan expressed the importance of this collaboration, noting that integrating advanced biomechanical insights into PCB’s training programs is crucial for improving the capabilities of both fast bowlers and coaches. DineticQ’s approach involves tailored training regimes and biomechanical assessments utilizing AI, designed to optimize athlete performance and reduce the risk of injuries.
The visit highlights PCB’s commitment to integrating scientific methods into player development, setting the stage for the implementation of DineticQ’s bespoke services under the ongoing five-year contract with PCB.
