Pasban Democratic Party Calls for Greater Support for Youth Talent Following Arshad Nadeem’s Olympic Gold

Karachi: In the wake of Arshad Nadeem’s historic Olympic gold medal win, the Pasban Democratic Party (PDP) has called for increased national support for young talent in Pakistan, emphasizing the potential of the country’s youth in contributing to economic growth and international success. The party proposed issuing a commemorative stamp in honor of Nadeem’s achievement and highlighted the need for a systematic approach to nurturing the capabilities of Pakistani youth.

According to Pasban Democratic Party, Pakistan should focus on cultivating and utilizing its young manpower instead of relying on familial recommendations for career advancements. The party stressed that the youth, who represent the largest demographic group and the “first line of defense” of the country, if given proper training and opportunities, can significantly enhance Pakistan’s global standing, not only in sports but also in sectors like education and technology.

Aziz Fatima, a spokesperson for the party, articulated that systematic patronage and development programs are crucial for enabling the youth to compete internationally. By respecting merit and investing in vocational and technical education, the party believes that Pakistan can increase its economic growth rate and remittances from abroad by 400% within five years.

The party also pointed out the natural aptitude of Pakistani youth in fields such as IT and business, urging the government to implement economic development programs that include practical and technical education frameworks for those unable to pursue formal schooling. This approach, the PDP argues, will prepare the youth to tackle complex problems in global commercial enterprises and bolster Pakistan’s economic strength.
