Paralympic Champion Haider Ali Set to Compete in Upcoming Paraolympics

Islamabad: Haider Ali, a gold medalist from the 2020 Tokyo Paralympics, has been confirmed to represent Pakistan at this year’s Paraolympics, with strong prospects for clinching another medal in Discus Throw. This announcement was made following a meeting between Ali and the Director General of the Pakistan Sports Board (PSB), Yasir Pirzada.

According to Pakistan Sports Board, the meeting underscored the PSB’s commitment to supporting elite athletes like Ali, who have significantly contributed to the country’s sports achievements on an international level. The board expressed its honor in sending Ali to compete in the forthcoming games, highlighting his potential to excel once again in his field.
