Nagoya: The Pakistan women's squash team encountered a challenging day at the 20th Asian Games Aichi-Nagoya 2026, losing both of their matches in the women's team event. According to Pakistan Squash Federation, the team faced defeats against Korea and Macao, China, with both matches concluding with a 3-0 scoreline.

In the first match against Korea, Eum Hwa Kyung defeated Mahnoor Ali in straight sets with scores of 11-2, 11-4, and 11-7 in an 18-minute match. Heo Mingyeong overcame Sana Bahadar 11-5, 11-5, 11-8 in 19 minutes, while Kim Dongyeon triumphed over Mehwish Ali 11-3, 11-8, 11-5 in a 42-minute encounter.

The second match against Macao, China, saw a similar trend. Yeung Wai Leng won against Mahnoor Ali 11-9, 11-3, 12-10 in 25 minutes and also defeated Sana Bahadar 4-11, 11-6, 11-7, 11-6 in 27 minutes. Cao Chengi secured victory over Sehrish Ali with scores of 4-11, 13-11, 15-13, and 11-7 in a 34-minute match.

The Pakistan team is set to face China in their next match in the women's team event at 10:00 AM JST (06:00 AM PST) on Tuesday at the Nagoya Kinjo Futo Arena. Meanwhile, the men's team will compete in the quarterfinals against Korea at 12:00 PM JST (08:00 AM PST).
