Pakistan to Tour England for Test Series in 2026

Lahore: Pakistan is slated to engage with England in a three-Test series in August and September 2026, as announced by the England and Wales Cricket Board. This series forms part of the World Test Championship 2025-27 cycle.

The series will commence with the first Test at Headingley in Leeds on 19 August. The teams will then move to the iconic Lord’s Cricket Ground in London for the second Test starting on 27 August. The tour will conclude with the third Test at Edgbaston in Birmingham, beginning on 9 September.

This forthcoming series marks Pakistan’s fourth Test tour to England since 2016 and is the 29th bilateral Test series between the two nations, whose cricketing rivalry dates back to 1954. Currently, the Pakistan Shaheens, a secondary team, is in England for a three-match 50-over and two-match three-day series.

The Test matches are scheduled to begin at 3 p.m. Pakistan Standard Time, offering cricket fans a much-anticipated contest between the two teams.
