Pakistan Reinforces Legal Cooperation with Azerbaijan, Law Minister Announces


Islamabad: In a significant step towards strengthening bilateral relations, Pakistan’s Minister for Law and Justice, Azam Nazir Tarar, has reaffirmed the nation’s commitment to enhancing legal cooperation with Azerbaijan. The confirmation came during a meeting with Khazar Farhadov, the Ambassador of Azerbaijan to Pakistan, where both parties discussed expanding collaboration in legal education and capacity building.



According to Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, the discussions centered around mutual interests in legal education, training, and capacity building for key stakeholders within the justice systems of both countries. The Law Minister highlighted the importance of these talks, emphasizing the close ties between Pakistan and Azerbaijan, and welcomed legislative developments that could attract more foreign investment.



The Azeri Ambassador expressed his appreciation for Pakistan’s efforts and congratulated the country on the recent signing of a Memorandum of Cooperation that seeks to further cement the legal and judicial collaboration between the two nations.
