Pakistan Earns Bronze Medal at Asian Junior Squash Championships

Hong Kong: Pakistan’s junior squash team has secured the bronze medal at the 22nd Asian Junior Squash Team Championships 2025. The team showcased commendable performances throughout the tournament, defeating China, India, and Macau China in the pool matches, followed by a victory against Japan in the quarterfinals.

According to a statement by Pakistan Squash Federation, the team’s journey was halted in the semifinals by top-seeded Korea, ending with a score of 2-0. In the semifinals, Korea’s Seojin Oh defeated Pakistan’s Sakhi Ullah Khan Tareen in straight sets 11-5, 11-7, and 11-3, while Jooyoung Na overcame Anas Ali Shah with a similar scoreline of 11-6, 11-7, and 11-3.

Out of 15 countries participating in the championships, Pakistan finished in joint third and fourth place. The achievement marks a significant milestone for the team as it continues to build on its international presence in squash.
