SARGODHA: In a concerted effort to strengthen the relationship between academia and industry, the Office of Research, Innovation, and Commercialization (ORIC) Steering Committee convened at the MPH Committee Room at the University of Sargodha. The meeting, chaired by Pro Vice Chancellor Prof. Dr. Masood Sarwar Awan, brought together deans, the director, and representatives from various chambers of commerce and industries to discuss strategies for fostering collaboration.
According to University of Sargodha, the meeting highlighted the university's facilities, including One Health Labs, Pak-China Study Centre, Centre of Excellence for Citrus, Rural Transformational Lab, and Statistical Labs. Participants engaged in discussions about potential collaborations, joint research opportunities, and the growth of entrepreneurial initiatives at the university. The emphasis was on developing an integrated ecosystem that aligns academic expertise with industry demands.
