Karachi: Two matches concluded in the Nighat Omar T-20 Cricket Tournament, with victories for Orangi Star Cricket Club and Sun Cricket Club. The tournament is hosted by Regional Cricket Association Karachi Zone-VI.
According to a statement by Regional Cricket Association Karachi, the first match at the Young Fighter Ground saw Orangi Star Cricket Club defeat National Gymkhana by nine wickets. National Gymkhana set a target of 112 runs with the loss of five wickets in 20 overs. Orangi Star CC chased the target in 14 overs, losing only one wicket. Zohaib Idris led with an unbeaten 76 runs.
In the second match, Sun Cricket Club overcame Northshire Cricket Club by five wickets. Northshire managed 146 runs for eight wickets in their 20 overs. Sun CC reached the target in 18.1 overs, thanks to Khurram Husain’s unbeaten 62 runs. Faizan Khan took two wickets for Northshire.
The tournament continues to showcase competitive cricket, with local clubs striving for victory.
