Lahore: The National U15 and U17 Cup triangular stages have launched today in Bahawalpur and Multan. Competitors for the U15 triangular stage include teams from Lahore Region (Whites and Blues) and the Rawalpindi region. For the U17 Cup, the Abbottabad, Karachi Whites, and Lahore Blues teams have advanced.
According to a statement by Pakistan Cricket Board, the National U15 Cup features 18 teams divided into three groups. Lahore Region Whites and Rawalpindi Region topped their respective groups, while Lahore Region Blues remained undefeated. The triangular stage sees Lahore Whites facing Lahore Blues at Dring Stadium today, with subsequent matches scheduled against Rawalpindi on Tuesday and between Rawalpindi and Lahore Blues on Wednesday. The top two teams will compete in the final on Friday, February 28.
Similarly, the National U17 Cup also involves 18 teams divided into three groups. Abbottabad Region, Karachi Region Whites, and Lahore Region Blues emerged as group leaders. The triangular stage began today with Karachi Region Whites against Lahore Region Blues. Abbottabad will play Karachi Region Whites on Tuesday, followed by a match against Lahore Region Blues on Wednesday. The final is set for Friday, February 28, at the Multan Cricket Stadium.
