Haripur: The Directorate of Quality Enhancement Cell at the University of Haripur successfully organized a one-day training workshop on Program Review for Effectiveness and Enhancement (PREE) for Program Team Members from all academic departments and affiliated colleges. The workshop aimed to improve the understanding of the PREE framework and provide practical guidance on preparing and refining Self-Assessment Reports in line with PREE standards.
According to the University of Haripur, the session began with Dr. Shah Masaud Khan, Director of the Quality Enhancement Cell, welcoming participants and emphasizing the significance of the PREE process in maintaining academic quality and program effectiveness, aligning with the Higher Education Commission's quality assurance standards.
Dr. Muhammad Nauman Habib, Manager QEC at Pak-Austria Fachhochschule: Institute of Applied Sciences and Technology, facilitated the training as the resource person. He offered comprehensive guidance on the PREE framework, the preparation of Self-Assessment Reports, quality indicators, and best practices for effective program review. His interactive session allowed participants to gain practical insights into complying with and implementing PREE requirements.
Participants engaged actively in discussions and shared experiences, contributing to effective capacity-building for academic program evaluation. Following the training, an exit meeting with the Vice Chancellor and Deans discussed the workshop's outcomes and the enhanced role of Deans under the PSG-2023 framework in strengthening academic governance and quality assurance. Dr. Muhammad Nauman Habib was presented with a shield and certificate in recognition of his contribution as the resource person.
