Islamabad: Seven students from the National University of Sciences and Technology (NUST) have recently completed the Sky Global Internship Program at the Turkish Aerospace Academy in Ankara, Türkiye, representing Pakistan in a highly selective international educational experience.
According to National University of Sciences and Technology, the internship, which spanned from July 22 to August 16, 2024, attracted around 250 applicants. The rigorous selection process was divided into two phases, ensuring that only the most capable and driven students were chosen for this opportunity. This program allowed participants to delve into aerospace engineering through hands-on activities, vocational observations, and interactions with leading industry experts.
During their stay at the Turkish Aerospace Academy, the students were involved in various engineering tasks, participated in professional meetings, and took part in a comprehensive tour of the facilities. The program also included several social activities aimed at fostering networking and cultural exchange on the Turkish Aerospace campus.
This achievement underscores NUST’s dedication to enhancing its students’ educational and professional prospects through meaningful international exposure and collaboration in the field of aerospace engineering.
