Nazimabad Town Launches Comprehensive Disinfectant Spray Campaign.

Karachi: Vice Chairman Nazimabad Town Nauman Siddiqui inaugurated a disinfection spray campaign aimed at combating the spread of diseases in Nazimabad Town. This initiative was launched following the instructions of Mayor Karachi, with several key municipal figures in attendance, including Municipal Commissioner Athar Saeed Khan and Director of Sanitation Zaheer Ahmed.

According to Karachi Metropolitan Corporation, the campaign aims to mitigate the risk of diseases such as malaria and dengue, which are exacerbated by the proliferation of flies, mosquitoes, and other germ-carrying insects. Nauman Siddiqui emphasized the responsibility of providing a pest-free environment for the residents of Nazimabad Town. The campaign includes the use of spray vehicles and manual machines to ensure thorough coverage of all union committees, particularly near rivers and low-lying areas.

The initiative will extend to residential areas, mosques, Imambargahs, schools, colleges, markets, and shopping centers to promote a healthier environment in line with hygiene standards. Residents are encouraged to contribute to these efforts by disposing of garbage in designated areas and maintaining cleanliness in their surroundings. The collaboration between municipal authorities and citizens is anticipated to transform Nazimabad Town into a cleaner and germ-free community.
