Faisalabad: The Department of Textile Engineering (Knitting) at the School of Engineering and Technology (SET) recently hosted the opening ceremony of its intra-departmental sports event on the cricket ground of National Textile University.
According to National Textile University, Dr. Habib Awais, Assistant Professor and Coordinator of Knitting at SET, led the inauguration of the event. The ceremony featured the presence of Dr. Muhammad Haroon Rashid, Assistant Professor and Sports Coordinator, along with several other faculty members including Dr. Hafiz Shahbaz Ahmad, Dr. Waqas Ashraf, and sports officers Mr. Pervaiz Akhtar and Mr. Imran Ali.
The event marks a significant occasion in the university’s calendar, aiming to foster sportsmanship and teamwork among students within the Textile Engineering department.
