Faisalabad, The National Textile University (NTU) marked the opening of its Inter-Departmental Football Championship 2024 with a lively ceremony at the university’s football ground. The event commenced with the first match between the Department of Textile Engineering (GMD) and the Department of Computer Science, resulting in a victory for the textile engineers with a score of 4-1.

According to National Textile University, Mr. Waqar Ahmad, Convener of the Sports Committee, officially inaugurated the championship, signifying the university’s ongoing commitment to promoting sports and fostering a spirit of competition and camaraderie among students. The presence of Sports Officers Mr. Imran Ali and Pervaiz Akhtar added to the event’s significance, as they witnessed the thrilling opening match that set the tone for the championship.
