Toronto: Muhammad Ashab Irfan claimed victory at the Richardson Wealth Men’s Open 2025 squash tournament, overcoming England’s Sam Todd in the final. The event, which offered a prize pool of $31,250, took place from October 15 to 19 in Canada.

Irfan, the fourth seed from Pakistan, secured the title with a decisive 3-0 win against sixth-seeded Todd. The final scores were 11-9, 11-1, 11-5, concluding the match in 43 minutes.

Another Pakistani player, Noor Zaman, also competed in the tournament, advancing to the quarterfinals before being eliminated.

This victory marks Irfan’s first PSA Copper Event title, as confirmed by the Pakistan Squash Federation.
