Rawalpindi: As Muharram-ul-Haram begins, mourners have gathered in Imambargahs throughout Rawalpindi and Islamabad, participating in commemorative gatherings to honor the sacrifices made at Karbala, deemed the heart of the freedom movement.
According to Tehreek Nafaze Fiqhe Jafariya, the gatherings were held in numerous locations including Ali (AS) Mosque and Qasara Bu Talib, among others. The events drew large numbers of participants who engaged in prayers and recalled the historical journey of Imam Ali and his followers from Madinah to Karbala, a testament to their dedication to upholding the principles of Islam. Allama Syed Qamarzidi emphasized the importance of following the mourning code issued by Allama Aghazi Hussain Maqdisi, leader of Tehreek Nafez Fiqh Jafaria, highlighting it as essential for the nation’s peace and stability.
