Lahore: The Department of Transport, Government of Punjab, has approved a Mobile Vehicle Emission Testing Van at the University of Engineering and Technology (UET), Lahore. This initiative aims to provide convenience to the university's faculty members and administrative staff by offering them accessible vehicle emission testing services on campus.

According to University of Engineering and Technology, the Mobile Vehicle Emission Testing Van will be operational on Monday, October 19, 2026, from 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM at the UET Lahore Campus. The exact location on campus will be announced after further consultation. The Public Relations Office at UET commended the efforts of Professor Dr. Imad Khan, Chairman of the Department of Transportation Engineering and Management, for his role in facilitating this initiative.
