Lahore: The Department of Transport, Government of Punjab, has approved a mobile vehicle emission testing facility at the University of Engineering and Technology (UET), Lahore, set to be available for faculty members and administrative staff. The initiative aims to provide convenient access to emission testing for the university community.

According to University of Engineering and Technology, the mobile testing van will be operational on Monday, October 19, 2026, from 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM. The van will be stationed on the front road near the Junaid Jamshed Stadium Gate at UET Lahore. Vehicles will be able to enter the campus through the stadium gate and exit onto Metallurgical Road.

The announcement appreciates the efforts of Professor Dr. Imad Khan, Chairman of the Department of Transportation Engineering and Management at UET Lahore, in facilitating the initiative. Faculty members and administrative staff are encouraged to utilize this service.
