Laptop Distribution Ceremony at Turbat University Celebrates Academic Progress and Collaboration

Turbat: A laptop distribution ceremony was held at the University of Turbat as part of the Prime Minister's Youth Laptop Scheme, highlighting academic achievements and future collaborations. The event, attended by key academic figures, was marked by the presence of Prof. Dr. Manzoor Ali Mirani from Sukkur IBA University, who served as the chief guest.

According to University of Turbat, the ceremony saw laptops distributed to over 1,400 deserving students by Prof. Dr. Mirani alongside Vice Chancellor Prof. Dr. Gul Hasan and other notable guests. The event was attended by university officials, faculty members, and a large number of students. Prof. Dr. Mirani praised the university's academic and infrastructural advancements under Prof. Dr. Hasan's leadership, emphasizing the institution's dedication to quality education and the students' pursuit of higher learning.

In his address, Vice Chancellor Prof. Dr. Hasan, supported by Pro Vice Chancellor Dr. Kamal Ahmed, underscored the university's initiatives in equipping students with modern skills and expressed gratitude to Prof. Dr. Javed Ahmed Shahani for facilitating international research opportunities and supporting projects like ERAMUS+. Prof. Dr. Hasan also highlighted plans to introduce IT diploma programs and professional courses to align with market demands, urging students to use their new laptops to enhance digital skills.

The event included discussions on strengthening institutional linkages between Sukkur IBA University and the University of Turbat. Opportunities for joint academic programs, faculty development, and student exchange initiatives were explored, with a focus on collaborative research at national and international levels. The delegation from Sukkur IBA University also toured various university facilities, such as the library and Innovesta Lab.
