Kotli, In a move to address and explore the burgeoning field of science and technology within the region, the University of Kotli Azad Jammu and Kashmir is set to organize an insightful seminar titled “Challenges and Opportunities in Science and Technology for AJK/Pakistan” on February 19, 2024.

According to University of Kotli Azad Jammu and Kashmir, the seminar aims to highlight the current landscape and future potential in science and technology specifically tailored for Azad Jammu and Kashmir (AJK) and Pakistan. The discussion will be spearheaded by Dr. Shahid Mahmood Baig, who holds the prestigious Sitar-e-Imtiaz and Hilal-e-Imtiaz, and serves as the Advisor for Science and Technology to the Government of Pakistan.

The event is meticulously organized by the Department of Biotechnology at the University of Kotli, in partnership with the Office of Research Innovation and Commercialization (ORIC) UOKAJK. The venue for the seminar is the Video Conference Room UOKAJK and is scheduled to commence at 2:00 PM.
