Salamabad: Under the guidance of Anjuman Dukhtaran Islam, Umm Al-Binin W.F., and Jamia Al-Murtaza, the Majlis Swaim Shuhday Karbala was held in Salamabad, drawing a significant gathering of women to honor the martyrdom of Imam Hussain (AS) and his companions.

According to Tehreek Nafaze Fiqhe Jafariya, Khatiba Khanum Qamar Zahra (Fazla Qom), speaking at the event, emphasized the profound and eternal impact of Imam Hussain’s sacrifice at Karbala, which she described as a defining moment between truth and falsehood. She recounted how Imam Hussain (AS), the grandson of Prophet Muhammad (PBUH), upheld the flag of Islam with his ultimate sacrifice, inspiring future generations to stand firm against oppression and injustice.

The event highlighted how Karbala serves as a timeless metaphor for patience and steadfast resistance against coercion, echoing through Islamic teachings as a guide for overcoming tyranny. The speakers at the Majlis, including Syeda Naqvi and Sana Hafeez, reiterated the values taught by Imam Hussain, stressing the importance of dignity, honor, and perseverance in the face of adversities.

The gathering concluded with a resolution calling for the full implementation of the National Action Plan, reinforcing the community’s commitment to principles of justice and equity as demonstrated by Imam Hussain and his followers at Karbala.
