Karachi, The Khansortium Karachi Region Senior Inter District Cricket Tournament saw another action-packed day with five matches unfolding across various cricket grounds in the city. Organized by the Regional Cricket Association Karachi, the tournament highlighted the burgeoning cricket talent in the region, with standout performances from both batsmen and bowlers.

According to Regional Cricket Association Karachi, the day’s matches showcased exceptional talent, with Zone-V Whites securing a victory against Zone-III Blues by 4 wickets at Landhi Gymkhana Ground. Malik Karar Ali’s brilliant knock of 134 runs and Shah Raza’s 133 runs were the highlights of the day, alongside remarkable bowling performances from Ali Hussain and M.Waqas, each taking 5 wickets for 41 and 43 runs, respectively.

In another closely contested match at TMC Ground, Zone-IV Blues emerged victorious over Zone-II Whites by a margin of 20 runs. Yasir Mushtaq’s impressive 113 runs played a crucial role in setting a challenging target. The bowling side saw Ali Hussain’s exceptional 5-wicket haul for 41 runs, contributing significantly to their win.

The KCCA Stadium hosted a thrilling match where Zone-IV Whites beat Zone-VI Reds by 15 runs, with Abdullah Fazal and Talah Ehsan making significant contributions with the bat. In a high-scoring match at Annu Bhai Park Ground, Zone-IV Greens defeated Zone-III Reds by 154 runs, thanks to Afnan Khan’s explosive 131 runs.

The tournament’s final match of the day at Eastern Star Ground saw Zone-II Blues beating Zone-VII Blues by 65 runs, with Waqar Ahmed scoring a commendable 103 runs in a losing effort.
