Lahore: The Directorate of Student Affairs (DSA), in collaboration with the Ushers Club, inaugurated the first day of the Jashn-e-Baharan 2026 festival. The event, held at the University of Central Punjab, was launched by the Chief Guest, Mr. Najam-ul-Saqib, Director General of the Walled City of Lahore Authority (WCLA). He was accompanied by Provost Muhammad Yaqoob and other senior academic leaders. The day's activities featured a flower exhibition, drum circles, musical performances, and food stalls, all of which celebrated the rich cultural heritage of the region.
According to University of Central Punjab, the festival is designed to serve as a celebration of culture and community. The program is set to continue with further activities planned for the following day, aiming to engage the community and promote cultural appreciation.
