Karachi: Sahibzada Abul Khair Muhammad Zubair, representing the Jamiat Ulema Pakistan and National Unity Council, has expressed profound sorrow over the death of Ismail Haniya, head of the Political Bureau of Hamas. In a statement, Zubair described Haniya’s death as a martyrdom that epitomizes the ultimate sacrifice in the struggle against oppression by Israel and its allies.
According to Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam Pakistan, Zubair portrayed Haniya’s martyrdom as a continuation of a long line of sacrifices made by his family and others in the region, highlighting that seventy members of Haniya’s family had previously been martyred. The statement emphasized the belief that these sacrifices are a divine honor and will contribute to the eventual liberation of Palestine and the establishment of an independent state. Zubair’s message underscored the conviction that the ongoing conflict will lead to a significant religious and political victory for Muslims.
The Jamiat Ulema Pakistan and National Unity Council also denounced any attempts to sow discord among Muslim communities and stressed the importance of unity in facing global challenges.
