Hyderabad: The President of Jamiat Ulema Pakistan and National Unity Council of Pakistan, Dr. Sahibzada Abul Khair Mohammad Zubair, has called for the removal of Qadianis from influential positions, labeling them as adversaries of Islam and Pakistan. Addressing the Tajdar Khatman Nabubat conference in Pretabad, he asserted that Qadianis played a role in the separation of East Pakistan and should not receive privileges extended to minorities unless they acknowledge themselves as a non-Muslim minority.
According to Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam Pakistan, Dr. Zubair emphasized that Qadianis are fostering division and unrest within the country by manipulating Islamic rituals. He recounted that on September 7, 1974, the Pakistani parliament declared Qadianis a non-Muslim minority, an act deemed a significant victory against their perceived conspiracies. During the conference, Deputy Secretary General Syed Aqeel Anjum Qadri stressed the need to safeguard the belief in the finality of prophethood, urging actions in concealed and crucial areas of Pakistan where Qadiani influence persists.
The conference saw various religious leaders and scholars, including Allama Ghulam Hussain from Faisalabad, highlight the importance of protecting religious beliefs. The gathering, organized by Bazm Khatman Nabubat Pakistan, attracted notable political, social, and religious figures from Hyderabad. The event was coordinated by the media cell of Jamiat Ulema Pakistan and the National Solidarity Council Pakistan.
