Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam Pakistan Backs Taqi Osmani’s Plan for National Unity and Welfare

Karachi: Sahibzada Abul Khair Muhammad Zubair of Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam Pakistan has endorsed a proposal by Mufti Taqi Osmani aimed at fostering unity among various societal classes for the country’s welfare, urging the adoption of scientific methods for its implementation. Zubair assured full cooperation from his party, emphasizing the potential transformative impact on the nation if different sections unite under the proposed Islamic system.

According to Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam Pakistan, the implementation of Osmani’s plan would address multiple national crises, including political and economic challenges, by promoting an Islamic system. Zubair remarked that the success of this initiative hinges on collective efforts to overcome what he described as the country’s subjugation to Western influences and the International Monetary Fund. He criticized the current state of affairs, pointing to issues such as the promotion of obscenity and nudity, and stressed that only a unified public movement could force the government to yield to these reforms.

The call to action includes rallying the populace around the agenda of Nizam Mustafa, which Zubair believes would lead to an Islamic revolution in Pakistan. He questioned who would lead this unification and stand for the revolution but reassured that his party would support those who rise to this challenge.
