Islamabad: Dr. Abdul Rauf Rafiqui, Director of Iqbal Academy Pakistan, recently visited the Iqbal International Institute for Research and Dialogue (IRD) at the International Islamic University Islamabad. His visit was marked by discussions on academic collaboration and an exploration of the institute’s contributions to Iqbal studies and interfaith dialogue.
Mr. Nasir Farid, Additional Director of IRD, welcomed Dr. Rafiqui and provided insights into the institute’s vision and ongoing projects. As a part of the visit, Dr. Rafiqui was presented with a newly published volume by the IRD, symbolizing academic exchange and goodwill.
During the tour, Dr. Rafiqui explored the IRD’s Reference Library and Media Studio. He noted the scholarly environment and facilities, acknowledging the institute’s role in advancing the intellectual legacy of Allama Iqbal through its initiatives.
Dr. Rafiqui concluded his visit by praising the IRD’s efforts and expressed his support for its mission of fostering research and dialogue across various intellectual fields.
