IoBM Students Explore Real-World Supply Chain Practices at Rajby Textiles

Karachi: In a concerted effort to bridge the gap between academic theory and industry practice, students from the Institute of Business Management (IoBM) participated in an industrial visit to Rajby Textiles. Organized by the Operations, Environment, and Supply Chain Management (OESCM) Department, the visit provided students with hands-on exposure to the operational practices of one of Pakistan’s prominent textile companies.

During the visit, students engaged in discussions with key figures from Rajby Textiles, including Mr. Nadeem Malik, Mr. Khalil Rehman, and Mr. Wajahat Ali. These discussions covered strategic supply chain decisions, warehousing operations, and process innovations, offering students practical insights into the industry.

The visit allowed students to observe Rajby Textiles’ production processes, enhancing their understanding of supply chain management. This aligns with the OESCM department’s focus on integrating practical learning experiences into its curriculum.

Established in 1972, Rajby Textiles is a leading entity in Pakistan’s textile sector, known for its production of high-quality denim fabrics. The company emphasizes quality, innovation, and sustainability, producing over 3.2 million meters of denim fabric monthly.
