Lahore: The Faculty of Media and Mass Communication (FMMC), in cooperation with its Career Services Team, recently held an online International Guest Lecture featuring Mr. Faras Ghani, a journalist and editor at Al-Jazeera English, Qatar. The session provided FMMC students with valuable knowledge on digital journalism, effective storytelling, and upholding journalistic standards.

Mr. Ghani offered insights into the workings of international newsrooms and provided guidance on pursuing careers in global media, including both employment and freelance opportunities. The lecture aimed to equip students with the essential skills and understanding needed for success in the competitive field of international journalism.

The session concluded with an interactive discussion, where students engaged with Mr. Ghani, seeking advice on skills and experiences crucial for succeeding at leading international news platforms.
