Wah: The University of Wah recently played host to a significant gathering during the 6th International Student Convention and Expo, welcoming approximately 100 national and international delegates to its campus. According to University of Wah, the delegation's visit was meticulously organized, with dedicated transportation provided for a cultural excursion to the UNESCO-recognized historic Taxila Stupa. Delegates from countries including Somalia, Syria, Jordan, and Afghanistan, as well as various regions of Pakistan, engaged with the site's historical and cultural significance, enhancing the educational impact of the visit.
Upon returning to the university, the delegates were greeted by senior officials, including Amjad Hassan, Director of the Office of Research, Innovation and Commercialization, and Major Shehzad Ahmed, In-Charge of Student Affairs. The visit commenced with a documentary screening, highlighting the university's academic strengths, research endeavors, and infrastructure.
