Lahore: The Office of Research, Innovation, and Commercialization (ORIC) at the University of Central Punjab organized an Interdisciplinary Research Group Meeting aimed at fostering collaborative research among faculty members across various academic disciplines. The event saw participation from key university figures and international scholars who emphasized the importance of interdisciplinary endeavors in addressing modern societal issues.
The meeting was attended by notable university leaders including Pro Rector Dr. Hammad Naveed, Dean of Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences Prof. Dr. Khalid Manzoor Butt, and Dean of Faculty of Engineering Dr. Muhammad Rizwan Shad. The session was led by Prof. Dr. Muhammad Akhyar Farrukh, Director of ORIC, who highlighted the necessity of both interdisciplinary and international research collaborations.
International speakers Dr. Stefan Poslad from Queen Mary University of London and Dr. Fesal Toosy contributed to the discussions, sharing insights on the role of multidisciplinary research in education.
