Islamabad: The International Islamic University Islamabad (IIUI) recently concluded its orientation program for incoming students of the Faculty of Education and the Faculty of Language and Literature. The session, held at the Auditorium of Faculty Block-II, provided essential guidance to freshmen embarking on their academic careers.
The program began with the recitation from the Holy Quran and the National Anthem of Pakistan. Director Students Affairs (Male), Dr. Ghufran Ahmad, greeted the new pupils and addressed key academic and administrative procedures. He emphasized the significance of this academic phase as a crucial step toward reaching scholastic, personal, and professional objectives.
Dr. Ahmad highlighted the global need for skilled professionals in education, language, and literature, underscoring the excellent reputation of IIUI alumni worldwide. He urged learners to maintain this standing through commitment, effort, and ethical behavior. He also promoted participation in extracurricular activities and sports, showcasing the university’s comprehensive sports resources.
Further guidance was offered by faculty members Mr. Rashid Mahmood from the Department of English Language and Literature and Dr. Zafar Iqbal Chaudhary from the Faculty of Education. They provided insights into departmental offerings and encouraged learners to pursue academic achievement.
