Islamabad: The International Islamic University Islamabad (IIUI) held its 105th Selection Board meeting, presided over by IIUI President Prof. Dr. Ahmed Saad Alahmed. The meeting focused on academic appointments within the International Institute of Islamic Economics, the Faculty of Arabic, and the Faculty of Languages and Literature.
The session adhered to the university’s statutory provisions and merit-based procedures. Attendees included permanent members such as Hon. Mr. Justice Dr. Syed Muhammad Anwer of the Federal Shariat Court, Islamabad; Prof. Dr. Ghulam Raza Bhatti; Prof. Dr. Bushra Mirza, Vice Chancellor of Fatima Jinnah Women University, Rawalpindi; and Prof. Dr. Muhammad Jamil, Vice Chancellor of Abdul Wali Khan University, Mardan.
Prof. Dr. Ahmed Shuja Syed, Vice President (Research & Enterprise) at IIUI, served as the Member Secretary of the Selection Board. Other attendees included Mr. Syed Hasan Aftab, Mr. Saqib Rasheed, and other concerned officers.
After comprehensive deliberations, the board finalized its recommendations in accordance with IIUI’s commitment to academic excellence and transparency.
Prof. Dr. Ahmed Saad Alahmed expressed gratitude to the board members, commending their efforts in maintaining transparency. He acknowledged their cooperation in ensuring the smooth and efficient conduct of the meeting.
Additionally, Prof. Dr. Ahmed Shuja Syed praised the Human Resource Section, the Quality Assurance Directorate, Protocol & Public Relations, and the Meeting Section for their professionalism in facilitating the process.
