IIUI and Rawal Institute Partner for Employee Healthcare Services

Islamabad: The International Islamic University Islamabad (IIUI) has entered into a partnership with the Rawal Institute of Health Sciences to offer on-panel medical services for its employees, their dependents, and parents. Under the newly signed Memorandum of Understanding (MoU), IIUI employees will receive indoor medical services at the hospital on a credit basis.

The signing ceremony took place at IIUI’s new campus. Commodore (Rtd.) Aziz Mumtaz, representing the Rawal Institute, and Dr. Inam ul Haq, representing the university, formalized the agreement. The event was attended by senior officials from both institutions, including Mr. Afzal Butt and Mr. Naseer from the Rawal Institute, and Mr. Atiq Ur Rehman Chughtai, Mr. Noor Husain, and Mr. Bilal Awan from IIUI.

During the ceremony, representatives from the Rawal Institute provided an overview of their medical facilities and services. They emphasized their commitment to delivering quality healthcare to the university community. Dr. Inam ul Haq expressed appreciation for the collaborative efforts by various university departments in finalizing the agreement and acknowledged the support of Vice President (Administration and Finance), Prof. Dr. Abdur Raheman.

Dr. Inam also highlighted the role of Mr. Bilal Awan in implementing the new medical facility and establishing partnerships with state-of-the-art hospitals for the benefit of IIUI employees and their families.

The agreement with the Rawal Institute is part of IIUI’s broader strategy to enhance healthcare support through partnerships with multiple hospitals. These collaborations aim to provide accessible medical services, including emergency and planned treatments, on a credit basis.

University officials reiterated their dedication to expanding such partnerships with reputable healthcare institutions to strengthen medical support for the IIUI community.
