Islamabad: The University of Haripur convened its 27th Academic Council meeting in the Vice Chancellor’s Committee Room, chaired by Vice Chancellor Prof. Dr. Shafiq Ur Rehman. The gathering, attended by deans, department heads, and senior faculty, focused on enhancing academic programs and student support.
The council sanctioned several key initiatives. Students can now enroll in supplementary credit courses within their degree timeframe. A discount structure for upfront semester fee payments was also greenlit.
Furthermore, the institution endorsed the introduction of new academic programs. These additions include a Midwifery program, an LL.M. program, an MS in Public Health and Nutrition, and a PhD in Public Health and Nutrition.
Prof. Dr. Shafiq Ur Rehman emphasized that these measures demonstrate the university’s dedication to fostering intellectual development and providing varied educational pathways. He commended the council’s commitment to student-focused strategies and bolstering the university’s academic standing.
