Lahore: Governor Punjab Sardar Saleem Haider Khan has appointed Prof. Dr. Saima as the Dean of the Faculty of Animal Production and Technology and Prof. Dr. Rana Muhammad Ayyub as the Dean of the Faculty of Life Sciences Business Management at the University of Veterinary and Animal Sciences (UVAS) Lahore. Their appointments are set for a term of three years.

Prof. Dr. Saima, who marks her second term as a dean, becomes the first female professor at UVAS to achieve this distinction. Prof. Dr. Rana Muhammad Ayyub, known for his expertise in economics and business management, takes on the role with an extensive background in academia.

UVAS Vice-Chancellor, Meritorious Prof. Dr. Muhammad Younus, extended his congratulations to both appointees. He acknowledged their contributions to the field of education and expressed confidence in their ability to further elevate the university’s academic standards.

The University of Veterinary and Animal Sciences has been recognized for its contributions to education and research, and the newly appointed deans are expected to continue this tradition with their leadership.
