Gaza: Muntada Aid has intensified its efforts to provide essential relief to the residents of Gaza, underscoring the challenges and costs involved in humanitarian assistance in the region. The organization is distributing freshly made bread to 1,500 people and supplying clean drinking water to over 4,100 individuals each day. Additionally, 500 hot meals are being provided daily.
The procurement of food and raw materials for these distributions presents significant logistical challenges. The cost of delivering a single basic meal in Gaza exceeds £4, a stark contrast to the under £0.50 cost to provide a nutritious meal to Sudanese refugees in Chad.
Muntada Aid has been active in delivering humanitarian aid to Gaza since October 2023, reaching over 172,000 people with food, water, and medical assistance. The organization calls for continued support and donations to sustain its relief efforts in the region.
