Forensic Science Students Gain Practical Insights at Lahore Police Training College

Lahore: A group of forensic science students from the Department of Biotechnology had the opportunity to gain practical insights during an educational visit to the Police Training College in Lahore. The academic visit was led by Prof. Dr. Javed Iqbal and was organized to provide students with hands-on exposure to various aspects of police training and forensic science.

The delegation was received by Commandant and Deputy Inspector General Mehboob Lilla, who facilitated a full day of immersive activities for the students. The itinerary included sessions at the investigation school, where students were introduced to forensic facilities and crime scene units.

Students also participated in firing range simulations and horse riding, which are integral parts of police training. Practical demonstrations were conducted to give the students a firsthand experience of the skills and techniques used in forensic investigations.

The visit was aimed at enhancing the educational experience of the students by providing them with an opportunity to observe and engage with real-world applications of their studies. This initiative was organized by the University of Central Punjab, highlighting the importance of practical exposure in the field of forensic science.
