First Lady Attends 5th Passing Out Parade and Annual Parents’ Day at Bakhtawar Cadet College for Girls

Shaheed Benazirabad: First Lady Bibi Aseefa Bhutto Zardari attended the 5th Passing Out Parade and Annual Parents’ Day at Bakhtawar Cadet College for Girls as the chief guest. Her visit underscored the institution’s role in empowering young women through education and leadership training.

During the event, the First Lady inaugurated new facilities, including a gymnasium and swimming pool, and participated in a tree plantation ceremony. She also opened the “Art and Science Exhibition 2025-26” and inspected the guard of honour before addressing cadets and parents.

In her speech, Bibi Aseefa Bhutto Zardari praised the college’s efforts in transforming young women into disciplined and globally competitive leaders. She highlighted the contributions of the faculty and the support from the Sindh Government in achieving these goals.

Reflecting on the legacy of women leaders like Fatima Jinnah and Benazir Bhutto, she emphasized the importance of education and leadership for girls in Pakistan’s future. She urged the cadets to uphold values of discipline and respect in all their pursuits.

The First Lady also awarded crests and prizes to cadets and observed march pasts, physical training, gymnastic displays, and a karate show.

Bakhtawar Cadet College, established in 2017 and managed by the Pakistan Air Force, enrolls 423 cadets from across the country. It offers modern facilities and has gained recognition in academics, sports, and co-curricular activities on various levels.

In the visitors’ book, Bibi Aseefa Bhutto Zardari expressed her appreciation for the college’s vision and the cadets’ potential to succeed and serve Pakistan with pride. Her visit reaffirmed a commitment to empowering young women and the pivotal role of education in shaping the nation’s future.
