The FBR emphasizes that all necessary tax deduction information, which was previously accessed through the Maloomat portal, is now consolidated and available on the IRIS portal.
According to Federal Board of Revenue, this measure is intended to streamline the process and ensure taxpayers have a more efficient and centralized access point for their tax-related inquiries. Taxpayers are encouraged to visit the IRIS portal directly to check their tax deduction statuses, bypassing the Maloomat portal entirely for this purpose.
