Elections Conclude for Pakistan Bodybuilding, Bowling, and Alpine Federations

Islamabad: The Pakistan Sports Board (PSB) successfully oversaw the elections for key sports federations, including the Pakistan Bodybuilding Federation, Pakistan Tenpin Bowling Federation, and the Alpine Club of Pakistan, at the PSB Coaching Centre in Lahore. The elections, held in accordance with national sports policies and regulations, marked a significant step in the governance of these sports bodies.

The PSB Election Commission announced that Muhammad Tariq Hassan and Sohail Anwar were elected President and Secretary General, respectively, of the Pakistan Bodybuilding Federation. Other elected officials include Muhammad Irshad and Khanzeb as Vice Presidents, along with a team of additional Vice Presidents and secretaries, ensuring a comprehensive leadership structure.

In the Pakistan Tenpin Bowling Federation, Ijaz ur Rehman was elected President, with Kamran Khalid serving as Secretary General. The election results also featured a team of Senior Vice Presidents, Vice Presidents, and secretaries, establishing a robust framework for the federation’s future activities.

Major General Irfan Arshad (HIM) was elected President of the Alpine Club of Pakistan, with Ayaz Ahmed Shigri as General Secretary. The club’s leadership team includes multiple Vice Presidents and Executive Members, prepared to guide the organization forward.

The election process, supervised by Chief Election Commissioner Waseem Majid Malik and his team, was conducted peacefully and in line with the established code of conduct. The Pakistan Sports Board has highlighted this electoral process as a critical advancement in the reformation and restructuring of the nation’s sports governance.
